Rosa Aslaug Huusmann
My work is an interesting exploration of grief and hope, capable of creating a deep
connection between the viewer and the universal themes that surround our memories.
Through its organic form and transparent structure, it invites the viewer to step into a
protective oasis of reflection and peace. The bended round bars that form the foundation of
the artwork add an elegant and sculptural dimension to its expression. Meanwhile, the
floating beads resemble dreamlike memories, filling the piece with an aura of magic and
fairies. By incorporating the text "Under Heaven," I aim to create a deeper context and
remind us of the significance of our personal journeys, our longing for freedom, and our ability
to find hope within difficulty. My work serves as a visual reminder that our memories are part
of the greater human history and have a place in the eternal narrative of our existence.
