My piece is about the ocean as my own interpretation of death or the beyond. For me the notion of ripples, untamed currents and the horizons seemingly abrupt end encompasses being moved away into the unknown. The text I chose is by the Swedish poet Karin Boye. It talks about otherworldly forces moving one’s state away from torment into what could be perceived as salvation or a comfort. The twilight at the horizon shows that there is no darkness without the light.
