During the semester I spent a lot of my spare time experimenting with layers of steel, using extreme pressure to make them burst and rip in a chaotic way. I want to highlight the material more than anything else, make people realize the process that the piece has gone through. By experimenting in smaller scale, I gained the knowledge of what will happen, allowing me to put this process into context.
